MFG Baden-Württemberg advises cultural and creative professionals on entrepreneurial issues in individual and free-of-charge meetings. The ideas and concerns of the creative professionals take centre stage for one hour at a time. The aim of the talks is to develop initial solutions and provide information about networks, contact points and funding programmes. Topics can include the founding, marketing, financing or economic development of creative products or services. Consultancy appointments are available on site in Freiburg as well as online.
Anyone who wants to keep up with the changes in the cultural and creative industries is well advised to continue their education and development. In its seminars and workshops, the MFG Academy provides creative professionals with up-to-date practical knowledge. The topics range from business management basics, marketing and communication to legal issues. The focus is always on soft skills, new creativity techniques and innovation methods.
"Knowledge Compact" is aimed at all creative professionals who do not have the time to attend a full day or longer of further training. In 60 to 90 minutes, they receive a condensed overview of knowledge and practical expertise from experienced speakers.
A boost for your games studio and your start-up: The Developer Boost gives founders from the games industry in the south-west the chance to get their games studio off to a flying start with industry-specific support consisting of expert workshops, group and individual coaching, pitch training, pitch presentations and a wide range of networking opportunities. The seven-month Developer Boost prepares games creators from Baden-Württemberg to set up their own studio in order to survive on the market in the long term.
As part of the "Smart Green Startup Accelerator", Grünhof is an accredited support partner of the programme. With the pre-seed financing, innovative green tech start-ups can receive "Start-up BW Pre-Seed" early-stage financing from the state of Baden-Württemberg. In addition, a financing strategy for the coming years is jointly developed and the guidelines for follow-up financing are laid at an early stage.
BW Goes Mobile is an all-inclusive journey for your mobile ideas: Trying out, testing and tinkering - but also getting feedback, optimising the business model and equipping yourself in the best possible way to make prototypes marketable and find your entrepreneurial path. This is BW Goes Mobile. Everything that is digitally mobile in any form is in demand.
As an impact start-up, Futur F is committed to equality and innovation and supports female founders in particular with empowerment, networking and counselling. The regional offer consists of low-threshold formats such as the Futur F late shift and Futur F snacks for knowledge exchange and networking, the female founder check-in as an introductory format and the free, individual advice Futur F Consulting.
The experts at the Steinbeis Business Start-up Advice Centre support those interested in setting up a business with qualified advice, from the initial idea to the successful implementation of the start-up project. The compact consultation: it comprises up to eight consultation hours and is free of charge. You can find the regional advisors in the advisor pool.

The New Sandbox is a two-stage Start-up BW funding programme for founders with digital business ideas in the fields of software, media and design. The programme is divided into the Activation and Acceleration Stages. The Sandbox is based in Stuttgart and is an accelerator programme for all start-ups from Baden-Württemberg.
The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's most important trading centre for printed and digital content and a great social and cultural event. In October, publishing experts, writers, representatives of the creative industry and culture enthusiasts from all over the world meet here to network and discuss, to negotiate and make decisions, to marvel and celebrate.
As part of the joint stand THE LÄND, start-ups from Baden-Württemberg can apply for a stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair. We are looking for start-ups that develop a product or service for the publishing industry that can be used to make processes more efficient and sustainable.
