IDNTY
Brand and communications agency made in FRBRG
Skyscrapers don't inspire. People do. A lively dialogue, an open-minded mentality, enthusiasm and, of course, nature are just as beneficial. Of course, it also needs figures and results, reveals Frankfurt-based Boris Wahl, who founded the brand and communications agency IDNTY together with Dirk Pinter in 2020, but in addition to the key figures for success, it also needs people, culture and communicative tasks. And these can only be found in this special mix in Freiburg, as the two managing directors of the GmbH affirm.
The agency was founded in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic - the founders were not working from a garage, but from home. The idea was to pool 25 years of agency experience and combine it into a new agency model that works leaner, faster and more service-orientated than conventional agencies. The "entrepreneurial idea" always forms the basis for successful marketing, reports Dirk Pinter, who previously built up and successfully managed companies himself.
From zero to one hundred in one year.
Success proved the vision of a systematised approach to brand positioning and development right and the agency began to grow rapidly. After the end of the coronavirus pandemic, it was possible to work together again and IDNTY moved into its first own premises. It was important to have a location that bundled the qualities of the region, offered good networking and was home to companies that were boldly looking to the future. Getting out of the TEAMS cloud and into life, sitting together, talking, making common cause again and rolling up your sleeves - where better to do this than in the city on the Dreisam, says Dirk Pinter.
If you help others to grow, you can't avoid growing yourself. Three years later, these first premises were also too small and the company moved to the popular site at the goods station. Once again, there was no other option than Freiburg, says Boris Wahl with a smile.
Baden's doer qualities meet Frankfurt's expertise in figures and results. And the customers feel it: Clear projects, measurable success.
Today, the agency's maxim is "ideas + numbers = success". As a brand expert, Dirk Pinter is responsible for strategy, brand ideas and sales. Boris Wahl is responsible for the commercial and legal areas as well as human resources. The two owners are supported by a team of 13 specialists in the areas of conceptualisation, creation, copywriting, online marketing and project management.
IDNTY customers now come from all over Germany and Switzerland, all with different challenges and from different industries. But according to the agency's founders, they all have one thing in common: the need to grow, whether economically, communicatively or strategically. And if you say the name of the city you come from, namely Fribourg, it always puts a smile on the other person's face.
Only one question remains: Why is the company name IDNTY written in this strange shorthand and not IDENTITY, as we know it from the word corporate identity, for example? Quite simply, explains Dirk Pinter, the philosophy of our agency is to concentrate on the essentials and leave out everything that is not needed. In this case, just a few letters and yet you understand exactly what it's all about - just like in good communication.
