The journey of The Chainless GmbH began in 2015 when the three visionary founders - Esther Arroyo Garcia, Frederik Böhm and Christian Hirth - decided to combine their passion for stories and their expertise in technology. In 2018, their vision became reality when they founded The Chainless in Freiburg. Why Freiburg? Thanks to the vibrant start-up culture, the start-up office and an extensive network, the city offered the ideal breeding ground for their young company. Added to this was the constant supply of young talent from the University of Freiburg, which fuelled the company's drive for innovation.

This is exactly where The Chainless comes in with its ground-breaking DeepVA software: it sifts through this vast sea of data to gain valuable insights. Their goal? The Chainless wants to give media companies access to artificial intelligence and thus speed up internal research processes. With DeepVA, such companies can use the power of AI to process visual data and thus optimise their processes, reduce costs and increase sales.
The Chainless is now known for its product "DeepVA" - a secure and scalable AI platform specifically designed to analyse and use visual data. This platform is unique in its kind and is already being used by leading media and technology companies across Europe. "We want to help a wide range of industries stay competitive in this new age of communication and utilise this data to their advantage," says founder Esther Arroyo Garcia.
The company attaches particular importance to a friendly working atmosphere, flat hierarchies and a balance between work and (family) life. It is this philosophy that - as the founders themselves believe - is the key to their past and future success.
